HEAVEN OR HELL - WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE?

I came across this quote today:

One of the wisdoms I gained from choosing my path and studying with my mentor Susie Anthony was the heaven and hell are not places, but rather states of mind.  It was the thoughts I was allowing myself to have on a daily basis that were creating a hell around me.  Those thoughts magnetised the very people, places and things I feared.  This is because thoughts carry a particular frequency and they are sent out from the mind - they then attract situations that are on that frequency.  When I allowed myself to have negative, fearful, judgmental, harsh angry thoughts, I attracted negative, fearful, judgemental, harsh angry people and sitautions into my life.  When I chose to stop those thoughts in the moment and practice positive, grateful, loving, compassionate and understanding thoughts about people and situations, I started to attract positive, grateful, loving, compassionate and understanding people and situations into my life.  I am the creator of my reality.  If I expect life to be hell, it will be.  If I expect life to be heaven on Earth, it is and that's what I am experiencing today.  Two people can live in the same street, right next door to each other and purely based on their thoughts, one can be living in heaven and one in hell.  It has nothing to do with the amount of sunshine, the amount of money you earn, the clothes you wear, whether you have a partner, how good you are at sport etc.  It is all about what you think about the experiences you are having daily.  So next time you find yourself in a negative thought loop, thinking the same old negative thoughts over and over again, STOP, breathe and FORCE yoruself to think about what you're grateful for.  I am grateful for ..... a roof over my head, a comfortable bed to sleep in at night, the feel of my sheets on my skin, the fan keeping me cool on a hot evening, the dinner I had tonight, the clean water I have to drink each day, the lovely coffee I had with my breakfast.   Check in how you feel after you make yourself think about what's great in your life.  Do you feel better?  I bet you do!  That's being in heaven in exactly the same place you were just in hell.  It's really very simple, but it's not alwasy easy due to the habits we allow ourselves to create.  If you stick with it, it will get much easier and before you know it, you'll be loving life.


There are SOOOOO many things to be grateful for!  What are you grateful for today?
